The Ontario Film Commission team is your first point of contact for jurisdictional advice throughout production. We provide end-to-end assistance for all productions filming in the province.
Our consultants are here to assist with complimentary location and studio space scouting support, connecting you with local businesses and on-the-ground trouble-shooting. Working with knowledgeable scouts, our team will assemble image packages, arrange site visits and facilitate scouting tailored to your project’s location needs. Our office in Los Angeles is available year-round, offering a deep knowledge of Ontario’s production ecosystem and market trends. The office works closely with LA-based producers & studios to help facilitate production in Ontario, as well as with Ontario companies traveling to LA. Ontario aims to be a worldwide leader in sustainable production. OGS offers producers a roadmap for reducing greenhouse gases, resources for food rescue, waste diversion and circular economy practices. Productions can access free and accessible carbon literacy training and carbon calculation workshops, drawing on the industry approved UK albert Program and the Producers Guild of America’s suite of tools.
