Toronto Videogame Database (TOVGDB)

The Hand Eye Society created the Toronto Videogame Database (TOVGDB) as a public resource featuring over 1,000 diverse videogame projects made by gamemakers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) over the last 20 years. The searchable database includes information about game developers, publishers, release dates, type of play, pay models, platforms, distribution, and genre. The report provides a high level analysis of the data collected. In addition, The Hand Eye Society has made the initial dataset available to the public in a machine readable format. September 26, 2017
