On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to join everyone in this virtual celebration of the 2021 Trillium Book Awards.
As Ontario’s top literary prize, the Trillium Book Awards shine a spotlight on emerging Ontario writers who tell their stories in English and French. The Awards also recognize the importance of the publishers who help these great talents find a wider audience with readers here at home and around the world.
I want to thank Ontario Creates for helping us celebrate our literary community and for raising the profile of the province at the international level.
